Since its pretty easy to reach epic towers i would suggest to use this one as your main dps first.Īfter reaching wave 2500 where you can buy 100% divine cards (with upgrade for medium towers) you can switch to Grid Bot. Since you want the enemys to die in your energy aura (which stacks) you can just choose the dog or the wind tower. Love the game, but yeah, seems to be slowing down as far as progress is concerned now.įor now i would just go with full special tower lineup. I may focus a bit on the buff towers next, getting their range up a bit and their buffs higher, once I get my DPS high enough (If I keep on with skelly I'll stop at tier 5 when he gets his pet). Still I feel like I am missing something. I did get to play in the last tourney and came in 12th I think it was, so got some damage upgrades there as well. I'm saving gems for the 2x speed boost for 500 gems, but that is gonna be awhile. The research upgrades are pretty high now based on the energy I have so that will be slow going. I did find the title upgrades etc recently which I hadn't known about (spent 1.2 mill so far for like a 40% damage upgrade there) which was nice. I seem to be hitting a kind of a wall where I am running out of things to upgrade. It seems over all better than the wolf pup, and certainly better than the cacti.Īm I wrong? Is there a better dps tower I am missing? I don't see me getting all the way to level 800 from here using the same towers I have, or maybe that is supposed to take a very long time. Should I just stick with skelly? With it's splash damage going up every tier and the range increasing, eventually it should pretty much never do less than 100% damage, while splashing enemies, and having a chance for 2x or more damage. That seems weaker over all then skelly again, although it's sucha higher tier, that the bonuses due to that might overpower the skelly (just not sure if it would with the lower card bonuses as well. It has splash damage as well, which is nice, but instead of range (which ends up being on average a constant on average damage bump, it has kingslayer that boosts damage vs bosses, and a drain that does a fixed % of the bosses health (as it would only be used on bosses). The next damage tower I see, which I don't have, but I could roll for (just with a very low chance of getting, and more importantly getting additional cards to get the bonus) is the wolf pup. That seems like a big advantage over cacti. If it's 30% of the base, then the lowest you can do is 55% of base damage and the highest is 270% with an average of about 160% per hit. Skellies also do splash damage making groups cake (mob mini game thing), and the range is currently 25-240% and will just keep going up (and that might not include the splash damage which is currently set to 30% (not sure if that is 30% of base, or 30% after the range). I could work on cacti, but I only have 1 additional card bonus and no pack bonuses on him, so it would take 14 cards to get to the same bonus as my skellies for base damage. More importantly it has 2 pack upgrades of 100% and gets 100% from individual card bonuses (for 300% all together). I currently have skellies at tier 3 evolution and working on 4. Cacti seems like the smart bet from the monsters I have right now, or could possibly get with my level 500 selection of packs. So I wanna switch to a higher tier DPS monster. I decided to evolve/level up my skeleton and that has been doing well over all, but I still don't think it's optimized and I read that basically higher tier monsters are always eventually better than lower tier monsters. It is what I got past 500 with actually.īut I realized it wasn't dps and I needed to upgrade. Thing is it got a ton of card bonuses early on, and it just did more damage than any of my early towers, so I evolved it to 5 and got a pet on it as well. Now don't laugh, but my first dps tower.was the sunflower (memories of plants vs zombies I guess). I used a pack thing with gems that got me past 500. Ok, I'm pretty new to this game, but I did make it past level 500 (once) to open up the higher tower pack (now I get to about 430-440 before reseting.
